Edward A. Granka

Mr. Granka is President and Managing Director of BBG, and is the lead person in all private company merger and acquisition activity. Mr. Granka has over 35 years of experience handling private company transactions including valuations, acquisitions and divestitures. Few individuals have the depth of understanding of as large a group of industries and markets as Mr. Granka. He is a seasoned Merger and Acquisitions advisor who offers a unique insight into the factors that affect the value and sale of a closely held business.

Mr. Granka's M&A background is deeply enhanced with his background in general management, business development and engineering. Prior to his appointment as President of BBG, he was president of an international manufacturer and exporter of specialty paints.

Mr. Granka is a member of the Institute of Business Appraisers and has been awarded the designation as a Board Certified Broker (BCB) by the International Business Brokers Association (IBBA). Involved in the business community, he has served as Chairman of the Small Business Council and member of the Board of Directors of the Albany-Colonie Regional Chamber of Commerce, served as a member of the Small and Independent Business Council of the NYS Business Council, Past President of the Sales and Marketing Executives of Northeastern NY; and Past Chairman of the State Government Relations Committee of the Albany Chamber of Commerce.

He holds a Bachelors Degree in Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and a Masters Degree in Management from SUNY Albany.
